Oct. 12th, 2021 10:04 pmMy Sister is home. Has been home since Thursday night.
I haven't seen her since 2018. Its good to see her, but all the usual stress things are going on. It exhausts me.
Friday we visited my Aunt in Lynn. I wanted to leave before dark because it is easier to drive home. We had to go through Boston and some tunnels. The usual things happen. The driver does not listen to me my GPS and her GPS. So frustrating. Took us over 3 hours to get home. She refused to go through one tunnel that we needed to so would could get through Boston. we went by Fenway Park 5 time. FIVE TIMES, FIVE TIMES.
This always happens. I almost hate making plans with them. All of their plan involve going from the south shore, through Boston, to the north shore...IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC.
Yesterday we went to Maine. It was a holiday so the traffic was light, but she refuse to take the exit I told her we needed to take to get on I95. We ended up roaming around another city for over an hour just to get back on the right road.
Today it took us over 3 hours to get through Boston. Oi.
Tomorrow it is rush hour traffic time to get to Glouchester for a 10 AM whale watch... they refuse to do one in Boston or on the south shore. We are leaving 3 hours for travel time...and then it will take another 3 hours to get home. I hope we see a whale.
