Sep. 10th, 2021 10:01 amYesterday I expressed my anger to the team leader. I apologized for sounding so pissed off and that I understand her position and have no issues with her... she just got to hear it because she asked... Its just hard starting hours early, staying late and through crappy communication with people up the food chain that things still suck. Sigh.
I even signed on at 9 to finish up a really tedious function that needs quiet...concentration and no anger. I found out that there was an email issue and no one received any emails from 1:30 PM until 8 PM. Great. The Boston boss assigned me 2 meeting for today...she must have forgotten my PTO. Sigh. She is in a meeting from 9 am to 4 pm... umm..why the hell didnt you say that in the meeting today? ARGH. So at 8 AM today I texted the team leader and asked if she was okay and if she needed me I could pop on. I'm home until 11:30. She thanked me and said she would be okay. I said that she could text me any time.
Right now I am relaxing before I head out later today. I am going to go to lunch with Dad then I get on a train and head west for a weekend with friends are at Faire. Funny, I love a train ride. I can sleep or relax...and there are no chores I could possible do while traveling. When things are better I hope to be able to take some scenic Amtrak trips.
Glad to be away from the news this weekend. 9/11 means something different to me. It will be 5 years since I took Ma to the hospital and they contaminated her.
