Stunned stunned stunned...

Had a meeting. My boss now has a new boss and she has MORE people reporting to her.

The new boss is known. He is a big asshole.

I almost threw up when they said we would report to him... he is that much of an asshole.

and he HATES the boss I dont get along with.

Things are going full draconian.

Just received word that the 4 of us from Boston may not have to report to the office until August 26... but that could change. Like tomorrow.

They are just figuring out that there is not enough room if we can only use every other desk. We have been saying that for a month.

Now if it was just 4 of us I bet the boss could have negotiated for us to be remote...not what I personally want, but is better for the team, so I would support that. The boss now hashers reporting too her in Boston and if they are a lot then she cant make that argument. They are also lower grades and the bigger boss doesnt believe that lower grade should be allowed the luxury to work remote.

Hmmmm....

At least I don't have to interact with teh Boston Boss for a bit longer.

And next week I can cover for my team leader and not worry about systems not working or not finding a desk to work at.

Maybe the lay offs at the end of the month will free up space.
