Headed to the train "store" to get a hard plastic card for a monthly train pass. There was a huge line. A worker came down the line asking what each person wanted/needed. I told him and he smiled and said easy peasy and handed me a card. This card is my ticket to normal.
Went out to dinner with a friend. Had a nice time catching up and such after Covid.
I am a bit sad though. She met a guy in Nov 2019 and has lived with him during lock down and he wants to move south before the next winter. So she will be gone. Visiting really wont be an option as he does not like meeting new people and socializing. I will miss my Friend.
Dad complained that I was not home for dinner. He also forgot that he made his own lunch. Says he wasn't feeling well, but I think that is just to throw guilt at me for going out.
Last day of my vacation. I am visiting my elderly friends for a couple hours.
Now that I have my train pass again I will have to head out more often on the week days after work. WFH is not good for my head space. I need some social.
