Apr. 28th, 2021 11:54 amReceived an email very late last night from the CEO asking us to name the project for re organizing the bank's operations division. Weird. Many people are terrified about loosing their jobs and they want us to help name the effort? Maybe it's a European thing?
There were 3 suggested names. The first Aurora from the Roman Goddess of the Dawn. The Second was FLUX as we would be in a state of flux... umm... deviation for some of the 40 year plus employees. The fire was Toucan because in some cultures it is sign of prosperity. While I learned something new about Toucans to an American who was a kid in the 1970s the Toucan means Fruit Loops...and this bank is kind of Fruit Loops...
Next we receive an email that there is a mandatory email tomorrow at 4:30 PM More people are freaking out that we will all loose their jobs. oi.
My team leader called me today about one of my accounts she is training on. She is scared. =(
I told her that I have no idea if I will be here or not. I still dont feel like I belong to any department. Do I do what she does, do I do VISA? Where will they send me? She wants to learn how to balance my VISA account because she believes that I should not be working the claims and balancing. She said that Pam (the Boston boss) said not to worry about it, but she was uneasy. I told her not to worry that I am uneasy because for Pam to say that I believe she is getting rid of me. While I don't want to be pushed to a callcenter/ claims place, I cant keep up with being split and I an exhausted from starting before 4:30 AM every day. I hope I find out just what I am supposed to focus on. Last summer I was just bored. This year I am exhausted from being split in 2.
Oh well, we shall see what happens.
