(no subject)

So today I got vaccinated.

I enjoyed going out and even on the train. I have not been out like that since before Christmas. I miss being in the Back Bay area of Boston. I was there for work for 30 years.

I have to admit that I was anxious about the shot because I am someone that usually gets side effects from medications. I was placed in the "wait 30 minutes before leaving" group.

The site itself ran soothly although I was a tad bothered by the site of so many National Guard... I have not seen that many downtown since 9/11...and many many of the Guard didnt look like they were born much before 9/11.

So far so good. All I have is pain in the injection arm. The weird thing is that my hand hurts more. It's the left arm/hand but its enough of a throb that I dont feel like painting. Yeah, Im bad.

I go back in 2 weeks.

Once that happens I am out!!!! I need to get my walling stamina back..and drop a few pounds.

This staying in most of the time is bad for my brain. I feel it going dark many days.

Oh, and I cheated. I went into the book store...I haven't been in a book store since Christmas 2019.

I also went into the Trader Joes and bought myself a small piece of salmon for dinner. It was very good. A nice healthy and quick meal. Dad doesn't eat salmon so I ate alone. I was smart enough to make hime something he could heat up in case I didn't feel well aster the shot.

Hopefully I don't have many side effects.
