Mar. 7th, 2021 07:36 pmTrying to fight the urge to sign on to the work computer...
It was worker appreciation day last week. We got a post card from the VP saying happy worker appreciation day. Yeah...I know how much I was appreciated in my raise. It would have cost nothing to let people leave 30 minutes early...staggered during the week. Nothing. Or, if you want something that you can write off, a $10 Amazon gift card. I know we have budgets for stuff like that. But I now report to a VP that runs the call centers. That is like working in a sweat shop.
Part of my brain is anxious and wants to get a head start of the work day... but the treatment of the works says I should not.
