Jan. 8th, 2021 08:38 pmI have a feeling of Malaise...and its not just the COVID.
Some of it is just the stress of trying to deal with Dad...while I am supposed to have the plague... Im cooking and taking care of a 200 pound 6 year old.
And then there is what happened in Washington yesterday. How. Just How. =(
Many I see saying that Joe Biden is evil and will burn the country... Ummmm... really. I dont think he has that in him ..that would be Trumpty Dumpty's M.O. He may not make everyone happy...I get that. If we cant come to any sort of middle ground then we dont need politicians to burn the place. The citizens will end up doing it. Sigh.
And then there is this freaking isolation and work sucks... there is no way to exit if there is a pandemic... and we may not have any normalcy for almost another year...
On a nicer note, DQ left me a rotisserie chicken on my door step so I didnt have to cook tonight. I appreciated that.
Once I can leave the house I am going down to the water's edge and put my feet in...even if my toes freeze off.
and I want Fried clams and lobster.
