(no subject)

Yesterday I was supposed to have a half day and leave at 10 AM. None of my reports came up when they were supposed. They are supposed t be there at 5 AM. It always happens when I take PTO. Sigh.

I declined to train because in my head my work should be done before I go since no one else will do it. Yes, I have a back up, but she won't do it right. My boss was okay with me not training and wanted me to go on time. I said its okay, I would just go at 11.

It's sad that I know my job and do it well, but it is the people at work that stress me out with their way of handling things... but over 35 years in a company can make people forget how to be normal. Sigh... so today I went to my happy place.

I headed to Ipswich. I asked Dad if he wanted to come as I was just going shopping and planned to eat Fried clams...so off we went.

I did some retail therapy. I bought myself a hand blown German Champagne flute , a new set of hand carved chop sticks, and a blown glass whale ornament to go with the others than hang on my ceiling. Oh and the cat has a new toy.

I also got a lot of inspiration for some art projects... now lets carve out the time.
