The boss has been scurrying around as she is being forced to take on more work and is pushing back,refusing to take it.

What she is being forced to take she is giving to the 3 people she likes.

I have listened to this for days. I asked my back up if she asked for new work, and she says constantly.

I was bothered yesterday. Today I started to get angry as the scurrying went on so I sent an email asking if I could have a minute.

She would be a moron if she didn’t know I could hear all this reorganization around only half the so called team. I know she is not a moron. And I don’t have a poker face so it is no use for me to try and hide that I am put off .

I had my say at my desk, quiet, but public. I told her that I was feeling left out and I am a higher grade. She tried to counter with the others having experience... yes experience that was learned here only months ago.

Yes Knowledge can be shared. That and both me and my back up have better writing and communications skills. Soon I will be the only one in the United States using an outside system, but my expertise also makes me an orphan. I need diversify. She started going on about Excel. I countered with excel is a tool like a fork. It gets figured out. That and my young back up just took college level courses in it so we can work as a team.

So I negotiated taking over a 3 hour a month project... but it is in our wheel house and the boss had no business not taking it on when we have both been asking for new things for a few years.

My boss said thank you for bringthing this to my attention. I smiled and said thank you.... but I know my eyes had to be saying bullshit.
