Jun. 17th, 2018 11:49 amIt's Father's Day in the States. Happy Father's Day to the Dad's out there, even the ones not in here in the USA.
Got up at 6 AM and took Dad to breakfast for Father's Day at 6:30. He is an early bird and likes to be the first one at the Breakfast place. I have no idea why. I just know that the waitresses there are nice to him and all the old guys that sit at the counter where there for him when we lost Ma.
I then went with him and paid to have his car washed and do a few errand with him.
Made him coffee and he and the cat sat out in the patio while I made a meatloaf for Tuesday's supper. I hope to cut it thick on Tuesday and heat it up on the grill.
I am doing some house keeping chores and at 1 PM We are going to dinner with the cousins at a big Italian restaurant that I have never been to.
When I come home I hope to have time to plant the garden by the front door. I have some Persian Shield plants that look like purple and green dragon scales. That and some orange and yellow lantana.
