My 88 year old aunt fell today. She tripped over the rug in her room. She broke her nose. They took her to the hospital to make sure she did not have head trauma or a broken arm... she fell much like my Mom did... except she had the life alert necklace.

The cousins say she seems okay, but tired from the pain and the scare.

My Aunt is healthy in body so she is another that they say can ;I've to 100.

My cousin sent a photo of her in a text. She looked so much like my Mom it hurt.

Oh well. At least she was able to come home.

Today at lunch I made an attempted to get t the higher priced grocery store in Downtown Boston. I made it there and back with time to spare. Yay (I miss working in Boston proper). I know that should I be completely stumped for dinner I can head here and get some really yummy pre made gourmet food...Today I needed a side dish that did not suck. I picked up roasted mashed butternut squash for Dad. OMG. It never liked my Mom's mashed squash, but this one had cream in it... Ma never added cream or mild...just squash and butter. This was Thanksgiving table good.

After dinner I went out in the garden and watched more monarchs. I wonder how the get anywhere, never mind migrate to Mexico, with that flight pattern.
