Finally had the visit to the nutritionist. She told me that my meals are not too bad, but they are missing parts and that is why I am hungry and go snacking.

My breakfasts are not big enough and need more protein and my lunches and dinners do not always have starches... and I am not being satisfied by my meals. I have to agree... tonight I had a grilled chicken cutlet with spinach and grilled zucchini... and an hour later I was hungry... and I am still hungry.

Yes, I can have a small starch at every meal...yes...protein at every meal.

I am also not eating enough fruit. Well, aside from bananas fresh fruit is expensive.

I also need 1000 mg of dairy a day...right now it is almost none unless I have cheese. It was suggested that I have 8oz of milk for a 10 AM snack with fruit.


Dad wanted to know how I did at the doctor's so he can loose weight. I told him that I have to eat more and my issues are not his... he needs to be accountable for his weight, not me.
